Handymat Services privacy policy

This is an English translation for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Dutch version is legally binding.

Who is responsible for your data?

Handymat Services, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) owned by Matthias Merx, located at Europaweg 1489, 2035 LA Haarlem, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy policy. Questions about this can be directed to info@handymat.nl.

What data do I process?

I only process the data you provide to me yourself, for example via the contact form, WhatsApp, phone or email. This includes:

• Name
• Address
• Phone number
• Email address
• Any other information you provide yourself, for example in a description of your job

Why do I process this data?

I use this data solely to:

• Contact you and prepare a quote
• Carry out and schedule an assignment
• Prepare invoices and maintain records, including compliance with the statutory tax retention obligation

The legal basis for this is the performance of the agreement between you and Handymat Services, or a legal obligation (for example, the 7-year statutory retention period for invoice data).

Sharing with third parties

I do not share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. Data is only shared to the extent necessary to carry out the assignment, for example with a supplier when ordering specific materials, or with my accounting software and email provider (Microsoft 365) for administrative purposes.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not place tracking or analytics cookies. Google Fonts is used solely to load the site's typefaces.

Retention period

Data required to carry out an assignment is retained for as long as necessary for that assignment. Invoice data is retained in accordance with the statutory 7-year tax retention obligation. Other contact details are not retained for longer than necessary.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You can also object to the processing of your data or submit a request to have your data transferred. To do so, send an email to info@handymat.nl.

If you believe I am not handling your personal data with due care, you can file a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (the Dutch Data Protection Authority).

Changes

This privacy policy may be amended from time to time. The most current version is always available on this page.
